Thanksgiving week vs Christmas

We are thinking about camping at the Fort, Christmas 2011. Then I started to wonder about coming thanksgiving instead, are the holiday decorations up around 11/21, or is that too early?

They start switching over right after Halloween (Oct 31 ). We were there last year till 11/10 and lot of them were up then especially MK. They should all be up by Thanksgiving, it will be crowded..

Thanks, we know it will be crowded either way, just hoping for warmer temps in November. Glad to hear the decorations will be there.

we're here now. MK and HS are all decorated and AK and EP are almost done. Resorts are in progress. Some of the regular huge camper displays are done with more going up every day.

Also keep in mind that while Thanksgiving week is busy, Christmas-New Years week is THE busiest. Parks closing to capacity that week are common.
