Thinking of skipping summer and trying something new this year and heading down for Thanksgiving week - 11/20 - 11/27. If anyone could share their past experiences for that week - how are the crowds, weather, resorts, pools, waterparks (are they still open), are the parks/resorts decorated yet for Christmas? I would greatly appreciate it any advise. Thanks.

We're arriving on the 25th. It's my understanding that the crowds aren't too bad until the day before Thanksgiving. Then they start to build. THen on Thurs, Fri and Sat and part of Sun it is mega crowded. THe weather should be warm enough during the day to swim. As far as water parks go, at least one of them is open all the time. We were there 12/12 last year and I think it was Typhoon Lagoon that was closed on 12/13, leaving BB open. But, I could be wrong.
As far as decorations go....you go to sleep on Thursday night and all is as always. You wake up on Friday and the holiday elves have been very busy!!!!! Way cool.
