Weather day/night, crowds ? (compared to summer), any advice? Always went in summer so this is all new to us. Very excited!!!

We will be there that week too! It'll be our first trip to wdw! I'm sooooo excited!

We went a couple of years ago.. Crowds were TERRIBLE; we vowed never again during Thanksgiving..

We will be there but have never been before. From what I have gathered the weekend before is good, monday and tuesday are ok, and wednesday, thanksgiving, and friday are packed. I think it will be great!

We will be there too. I've spoke with a friend who went a couple years ago during Thanksgiving and she said it wasn't too bad. So I am going to stay hopeful and use extra magic hours and already planned fast passes. We are leaving the day after Thanksgiving so I'm hoping it won't be so bad...fingers crossed!

We went last Thanksgiving. It was fairly warm during the day. Shorts or short sleeves were fine. We did need sweatshirts at night. Crowds were heavy but we made do. Thanksgiving day at the MK was the worst as far as crowds go during our trip. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the decorations.

The weather is normally in the 70's to low 80's from our experience, with a chance of colder fronts for a day or two. One year it was a record low and then it got warmer after that. You will definitely want to bring a sweatshirt or light jacket for evenings as it does get cool.

The crowds will be very busy, but manageable as long as you use FP and get there early. Mid afternoons will be extremely crowded so just be ready for it and be patient. There have been a lot of threads with regard to FP+ and it's impact on FP availability and wait times. Not sure how that will effect your vacation as it was not "in play" in the past.

Have a fun time!

We went a couple years ago....the crowds were high, but we loved out trip there.

Two words will help you make the best of it: Rope drop! We've been at Christmas and Easter, both similarly busy weeks, and managed to do everything we wanted by arriving early and calling it quits when the crowds got insane.

We did Easter this year and rope drop was key. We took a break and went back in evenings. One reason I think FP+ will be good as busy times you could go back in evenings and have some fast passes reserved.
