Thanksgiving week at SSR

We are going to WDW on Saturday ( 11/18 ) and staying at SSR We are returning on Turkey Day. I was wondering about crowds there during those times.

Anyone been during Thanksgiving week and what the crowds are? I'm hoping that it will be busy T-Day thru the following weekend. Any experience in this will help.

My family visited during Thanksgiving week in 1990 and the parks were packed! My DH and I visited the week prior to Thanksgiving in 1997 and that Saturday, we noticed an increase in the crowds. We left that Sunday night and the crowds were really piling into the parks that day so I'm guessing that the crowds are still pretty heavy that week. Hopefully someone who has been there during the week can give you a better idea...Hope you have a great trip! I'm jealous!

Capacity builds as Thanksgiving day approaches. The following weekend will be heavy with the attendance falling off with Monday into that week.
