So, I'm debating when our next trip will be and am considering Thanksgiving weekend 2006. Is that weekend just crazy-crowded or is it reasonable enough crowd-wise to be worth it?

Aslo, for those that have been, are the Thanksgiving dinners expensive or is it possible to have turkey (plus one vegetarian in the group would need some option) without breaking the bank?

Thanks!

In '04 we arrived on Thanksgiving Day. We ate at Chef Mickey's and it was very good. I had the whole turkey deal, dh had roast beef and dd had mac and cheese! I think it was around $30 per adult. There are veggie options at the buffet meals.
Now, as the crowds. They were pretty incredible when we went to MGM the day after Thanksgiving. Same with Epcot. I can only imagine what MK was like. It stayed crowded until Sunday night. Then, each day after that it got less and less congested. This past year I arrived on the Tuesday night after Thanksgiving week-end and that next few days was heavenly. I would have to say that THanksgiving week-end is one of the more crowded time periods at WDW.
