Hey All! First off all I want to thank everyone on these boards for all the help you have provided in the past, I read dis boards almost religiously and have learned a LOT.
My family (Husband, MIL, SIL and BIL) is planning on visiting Disney World Nov 23-Nov 28th. I already know its going to be busy, that's a given, but I've been trying to figure out a prelimanary schedule so that I can make a few ADRS (this coming from the just say no to ADR's queen!)
I have consulted www.TouringPlans.com and I was really suprised to find the parks that it was recommending for specific days, and I wanted to get a feel for what the expect.
Here is my prelimenary schedule and I wanted to see what you guys think..
Thursday: Magic Kingdom, Liberty Tree Tavern lunch about 2PM, hit a few rides, and then leave, catch the resort monorail to review the decorations at Poly/GF/Contemporary
Friday: Animal Kingdom, no ADRs, probably will try to visit AKL for decoratiosn today.
Saturday: was originally thinking MGM, but Touring Plans says its the WORST park to visit on this day, and says Magic Kingdom and EPCOT are the best. So thinking about doing EPCOT and do Candlelight Processional with the dinner package. Any comments on this?
Sunday: Thinking about making this Magic Kingdom day as Monday is MVMCP and we will not be attending that (all adults). Doing breakfast at Whispering Canyon (been there many times and love it) obviously see the decorations threre, and then head to Magic Kingdom.
Monday: Was originally going to do EPCOT this day and Candelight Processional, but if that gets moved to Saturday we could fill in with MGM, and then tour Boardwalk, Beach Club and Yacht Club. Are there any good counter service restaurants on the boardwalk area? Also, I know there is a boat from MGM to Boardwalk is it a pretty long walk?
We have all been to Disney many times in the past, and will NOT be hitting the parks commando style, just want to get some favorites like Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror, and probably Everest in there. Im thinking the crowds will be similar to June, that's what the #'s look like on TouringPlans.com. Does that sound right to anyone?
Anyway much thanks for your help in advance and sorry for the long post!
