So, I'm currently watching tv, and they're now having adds for the holidays!!:cool1:

And since thanksgiving is coming up (for those in USA), what sort of special things do you and your family like to do? Is there any particular dish that you have to have each year?

Last but not least......
name your favorite dish that gets served at the dinner.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well this year we have a bunch of family flying in. They are coming from all over the US. There will be about 40 people for the whole 4.5 days. Lots of cousins!

We always get up, and watch the Macy's parade. We also like to sit on the floor and pick and choose what stores we want to go to on black friday, and sit them in a pile. Some of my cousins will want to swim (crazy if you ask me, but i guess coming from new jersey, you would feel pretty warm here!) and the rest of us will play some sort of a football at the park nearby, while the rest of the dinner is being prepared. We them come in and eat around 4pm(ish). Dessert comes later and then its time to break out the christmas movies!!:goodvibes

The next day, a group of us will go shopping for the morning (at least until noon). We will eat leftovers for lunch and dinner. We often play board games (my new favorite being Quelf - so fun! A spoof off of cranium).

On saturday, most of them will leave and then we'll just recover. That evening we start our christmas decorations! Putting up the tree, ect.:santa: We won't decorate till I come from school.

Thats about what I do for Thanksgiving!

We usually have a really big dinner and such. But the day after Thanksgiving we always put up all the Christmas decorations. :D

Every Thanksgiving Day we get up, eat cinnamon rolls and watch the parades on tv. :goodvibes

And then! My whole family works together to make Thanksgiving Dinner...with the turkey, stuffing (which is always home-made. Boxed Stuff= D: ), corn, green beans, mashed potates, gravy, cranberry sauce, and rolls. And then! For desert my parents usually make pumpkin pie while my sister and I (since we can't stand pumpkin pie) get some kind of....holiday cake thing from the grocery store).

And then! The next day we usually go Christmas shopping and put the decorations up. :goodvibes

I'm going home for Thanksgiving, and I'm so excited! I love Thanksgiving.

My mom makes a huuge turkey with everything you can think of. Two different kinds of stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, everything. My brothers come over, and sometimes my grandmoms, unless they are invited by other family.

The morning of Thanksgiving, I watch the parades. Then I go to the high school football game. Then I go home, and chill until dinner. Then afterwards, everyone sits on the couch and falls asleep from all the turkey. lol

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays!! I can't wait for it.

A couple days before thanksgivinf my dads side of the family gets together at my Great-aunt's house and everybody prettymuch eats and talks for about 2-4 hours and goes home. I usually end up taking care of the little kids since there are no other people near my age.

The day before thanksgiving my moms side of the fmaily gets together at my grandmother's house and we all eat and talk. Me and my 5 cousins who are about my age all go to the guest bedroom and talk/play guitar/ facebook.

Thanksgiving day my immediate family (grandparents, parents, and I) all come to our house to watch the parade and eat lunch.

on thanksgiving morning my family gets up and we all scream at who's gonna be in the parade while my mom makes her marshmallow yams yum.. then we go to my cousin's house and have dinner and all that fun stuff

My mom and I always watch The Macys Day Parade. It's awesome!
My favourite dish is the mashed potatos! :thumbsup2 So yummy!

Thanksgiving is my new favourite holiday. I love it!

we go to wdw every thanksgiving :goodvibes
