Thanksgiving Sunday EMH MK

Hi all. We are planning on a trip the week after Thanksgiving, first day being the Sunday. Unfortunately the search feature is disabled, so if I'm repeating a question I apologize. What I'm wondering is if the extra magic hour on Thanksgiving Sunday is worth doing or if the crowds are just too much? If the crowds are too much should we try another park or just wait until the next day? Thanks in advance for your answers.

I can tell you for sure that the crowds the weakend after Thanskgiving are very HEAVY, and I was totaly amazed at the drop off in crowds on the Mon after T-day. I recommend doing something else on that Sunday, because you will be able to do alot more that following week.

Sunday 11/30 is the first day of MVMCP and MK will close at 6pm.
We have never been to WDW for the Holidays(any holiday!) but everything I have read is to stay away from the parks unless you really must be there during the Thanksgiving weekend.Of course ALOT of people simply MUST be there-hence the large crowds.
Well, we will be experiencing WDW for the holidays this season and I have back-ended the WDW parks to the week following the holiday. Have a great trip whenever you go to the parks!

I would say that the MK will be less crowded on Sun than Sat. , some people will be traveling home for work on Mon. Of course Sun will still be busier than Mon. with people staying for MVMCP and than leaving on Mon. I would say the crowd on Sun will be somewhere in the middle. I wouldn't let this dampen your day. As far as EMH, it only applies to on-property guests, not the general public. I would do EMH at MK and if it gets packed after general opening, hop to another park.

Thanks all for the info. I think we'll get as many rides as possible at Fantasyland (DD's 8 and 4) until it gets crowded and then maybe head off to Epcot. Thanks again for all your responses.
