Thanksgiving Question

Does anyone know the crowd situation of Disney on Thanksgiving Day until the week after? Im not sure if I should start my trip on Thanksgiving Day or wait until Saturday to arrive.

Welcome to the DIS. Thanksgiving is packed, with the Friday afterwards being extremely busy and the Saturday afterwards being busy. By Sunday crowds will be back down.

We went to the MK this past Thanksgiving for the first time ever and honestly my husband and I were stunned at the low crowd.
We have seen it much busier for our annual June trip than that. It may have been a fluke but we loved the fluke crowd! We laughed and said maybe folks didn't come because they read about the crowds and skip the MK.
Who knows but it was super nice.

We had our first Thanksgiving trip in 2013. The day after Thanksgiving was really crowded at Epcot but we used 3 fastpass pluses, had an ADR for midafternoon dinner and Candlelight processional, watch the EPcot Christmas storytellers during down time. It was a really fun day for us and I would love to do it again!
