Thanksgiving or Veterans Day?

I know both long weekends will be crazy busy. Is one a little better then the other? We are trying to figure out when to go and I really want to go during the Christmas season this year. The problem is my oldest is in college so hard to miss. She gets out at 11am on Weds and doesn't have class on Fridays. So trying to find a time when they don't have classes on a Thursday (her long, late day). Any tips or suggestions?

Veterans Day is definitely less busy than Thanksgiving. Pretty much everybody gets Thanksgiving off. Very few get Veterans Day.

So Veterans Day is on a Thursday this year (11/11). That weekend happens to be Dapper Day weekend this year, which tends to be busy. They shifted it because it’s usually the first weekend in November. I suspect that weekend will be more crowded that usual though Thanksgiving will also be extremely crowded.
