I've read here that Thanksgiving is very busy at MK. Does it stay busy into the night, or do things clear out as people head out to their holiday dinner. Looking at last years schedule, I see Spectro only ran on Saturday b/4 Thanksgiving, then again Thanksgiving night. Which evening should we plan on seeing it? The friday after Thanksgiving, our last day, we hope to do the CP. Anyone experience last Thanksgiving week? How did it go? Were additional parades added to the schedule?

I noticed it got considerably less crowded after the parade and fireworks on T'giving night (1999). We arrived in MK about 4pm and rode Space Mountain (waited about an hour) and Buzz Lightyear (also a long wait, probably another 45 minutes or so).

We went from Tomorrowland to Adventureland, via Main Street which was our biggest mistake. If I had to do over I would have gone through Fantasyland instead. Anyway, once the MSEP passed (we followed it towards the castle) and made it to Adventureland, we found virtually no one there. We zipped up Swiss Family Treehouse and could just about see the fireworks through the branches. We got right on PotC and Jungle Cruise. We had to wait a few Minutes for the Tiki Birds show and DH and DD didn't have to wait long to ride Splash Mountain.

The park was open until 11pm and the MSEP was twice.
