I think MousseDude was available the weekend before Thanksgiving (just not on Thanksgiving weekend).

I have nothing scheduled for the first weekend in December, so would prefer to have it that weekend. I will check with my husband first though to make sure I can get a "pass" for the weekend. The advantage of that weekend is that Christmas Decorations will be available for sure. (they may wait until US Thanksgiving to release them)

If it is moved, and you still want me to organize the Dis Amazing Race, I would like to start organizing almost immediately. Let me know if/when the date change is confirmed.

I think we should move it to that week-end....with everyone getting ready for the holiday(Thanksgiving) not as many players would be able to attend and like you pointed out the Dec Holiday decorations may be out that week-end also.

First weekend in December is okay with me- not as good as the weekend before Thanksgiving- but I can manage- I may have to schedule in specific hours- The Friday night I should be fine, Saturday the 3rd my oldest dd has to get dressed for cotillion dance (I should be able to do stuff around that but will be here and there- on the same day youngest dd is in Christmas parade and singing for the mayor (but dh is handling that one), On Sunday the 4th the only thing I have is later in the evening so I'm good to go then...

Hi Mal! I will have to bow out then if it is the first weekend of December. We will be in sunny Florida Actually, we'll be driving the long way back home that weekend, so I WON'T be having fun! I'll be thinking of all of you though!!

OK, Since this thread is here I will use it to start organization of the Dis Adventure Race (Amazing Race) to be held the weekend of the next Mule Ball (First Weekend in December).

First of all, I want to say that this will not be the only event at the Mule Ball, so don't feel that you need to be involved in this event or you can't participate. There will be opportunity to sponsor your own event or participate in other events. This one will take some planning ahead of time, so I want to start organizing now. I have some ideas for the event, which I would like to discuss away from the open forum so that it doesn't spoil the event for the racers.

Volunteers will be required (as a minimum commitment) to be available during the event (pending the exact scheduling), to create (or already have) a mule with a creative name for the event, Sponsor prizes (minimum 2,000 credits), attend a few meetings for organization, give your ideas. If you don't feel that you can commit to this level, then please PM me to take your name off the list. You are welcome to be a racer in the event instead. We will also be looking for a few people to step up and do more than the minimum above, but I won't say more than that in public for now. We likely will need a few more volunteers, so you can PM me or post if you are interested.

Having 3 little ones at home, it couldn't be for the entire ball, but I'd be available Friday and Saturday 7pm-closing, and Sunday 12pm-closing.

I can't commit to helping during the event but I am willing to donate prizes. I have at least one VIP code left, a store room full of Halloween stuff, mules with NPC pins plus some credits. Oh, a couple of my mules have spare Sorcerer hats. I'd also be willing to earn some diver suit codes. Just let me know.

Ok, that weekend is ALMOST clear for me lol.

My honor society (Kappa Delta Pi) does a lunch with santa deal for underpriviledged school kids in our area. They get presents (prob the only, or one of the few they will get) and make crafts, free food, and all that fun stuff. This year it falls on sat dec. 3 in the late moning/early afternoon. So friday, saturday after 5pm (eastern), and all day sunday are good for me that weekend.

but hey, dont base this on me, please lol.

If the race is saturday before 5, then i will have to bow out, but go with that weekend, it works for everybody.

I will send out a PM on Sunday to the Volunteers to let you know what I am thinking for the race, and to get some more ideas.

If you have donations you can give them to me (I will start up a skull rock donation room to store them until the event) If you have codes to donate, please PM them to me and clearly indicate what they are for. (I will start a spreadsheet with the codes for the event)

We will be looking for interest from racers later, so no need to post now saying that you would like to enter the race
