Tell me your plan for Thanksgiving @ WDW---or what you've done before or what's available to do? I think last time we were there we didn't even have a specail meak for T'giving I think it was b'fast & that was it...

I just made ressies last week for Olivia's at OKW. There's 5 of us and the only way we could get adr's was to split our party up. Every other restaurant was BOOKED! Here's some pixie dust if you are still needing to get adr's for Thanksgiving. :wizard:

Wow, every other resturaunt was already booked?!! :earseek: :earseek: :earseek:
We're going to Artist Point for dinner. Since this is our first Thanksgiving at WDW, I didn't think we had to make ADRs so early, but DMIL is going with us, it's her first trip, so DH insisted I make ADRs for AP the first day I could.

We were there this past year for Thanksgiving and we had thanksgiving dinner at chef mickeys.. There was 12 of us and i called 3 months ahead to book it but we couldnt get sitted till after 8 cause of the # of people we had..THey had turkey plus some other thanksgiving food u would eat plus their regular buffet food..It wasnt that bad but again it wasnt home either..

Yes, good luck. My DH was on the phone reently with a CM. They went down the alphabet and we could not get a Thanksgiving meal reservaion anywhere. Still not sure what we are going to do. :(

We have an ADR at Liberty Tree Tavern. Never been there, but seemed like a good place to do Thanksgiving. We have a party of 10, we're split into 2 tables at most places.

We will be at DW for Thanksgiving also, we have decided to pass on the Traditional dinner that day. Figuring, if we eat way too much of the good stuff we would be done for the rest of the day. So, it might be burgers and fries that day..

But we are having the at Home Thanksgiving this sunday before leaving, so we still get all the good stuff.....

12 DAYS and Counting.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are a party of 10, I was on the phone at 7:05am on 90 days out and wanted to get Liberty Tree Tavern, well by 7:50 when someone picked up
the phone dinner was sold out and all I could get was a 2:10 with 2 tables.
That was okay, because we fly in that morning and wanted a later lunch
type Thanksgiving dinner but I was surprised that dinner was booked up.
Also had a recording on telephone at 7:30 that Cinderella Castle had already
booked up. Sending pixie dust to anyone who still needs a ressie. ::MickeyMo

We've got ADR for Thanksgiving Dinner at the California Grill at 5:00. I got that one at 90 days out, then tried to switch it to something else a couple days later and couldn't so we're going with it. Hope it's as good as their normal menu. In fact, if the pork listed on the TG is their usual pork dish I'm skipping the turkey and having the pork! We've also got breakfast at CRTs that morning at 8:10 so looking like we'll be eating good that day if nothing else!

You might try lunch. A few days ago a friend and I were each able to get a party of 3 at Rose & Crown at 2:50. She had just found out they were going and found that for her family. I called about 15 minuted later and got the same thing for mine. Good luck! I was having NO luck finding anything for dinner that could accommodate all of us without waiting until 8:30 or later - not working with 2 - 2yos. :)

I know it won't be the same, but all the moderate and value resorts should be serving Turkey in their food courts.

Our Thanksgiving plans are to sleep in a bit; have a mid-morning breakfast at Trails End; visit DTD and resorts; and then have our dinner at Whispering Canyon. Maybe we'll visit a park just for fun. Can't wait!!

We just booked a stay for Thanksgiving week last week....try Palio at the Swan...we booked it for 7:00pm...we have not tried it, but I heard good things about it, they have a Thanks. dinner and the regular menu...good luck!

We are arriving early evening T'Giving day. We originally planned and booked an ADR at POR where we are staying since we didn't think we'd have time to get out to one of the parks that day. Now MK is open until 11PM so we are toying with the idea of going to a park and doing a CS dinner instead. We are also thinking about trying to fly standby on an earlier flight. That might influence our dinner decision, too...

DH, DB and DF wanted to have dinner at the Rose and Crown so that is what we are doing... Who knows... Maybe I'll have fish and chips!

When I talked to the CM she told me that they were all surprised at how quickly Thanksgiving booked up. She did say that the restaurant at the Swan or Dolphin (I can't remember which) was available. The only problem is that it's not on the dining plan so that's why I didn't book it. It may be worth a shot if you can't get an adr anywhere else.

Does anyone think we have a chance of getting a walk-in for 3 at WCC or Chef Mickey's -Probably late after 8PM
