Thanksgiving meal

We are going to Disney for our anniversary over Thanksgiving,
could anyone explain what the food is like at Grand Floridian Cafe and 1900 Park Fare? And are we allowed to go out on to the beach by the wedding pavillion to watch the fireworks?

Also, Is there a good place to see the fireworks without actually going into the parks that doesnt require dinner reservations?
