Thanksgiving Meal Suggestions at HH

Hello!
We are staying at HH Thanksgiving week (first ever DVC stay/first time visiting HHI). I am wondering if someone could recommend a place where we could cater a meal (to eat at the resort) or a restaurant nearby, in Savannah, etc.. where we could experience a Southern Thanksgiving meal. Thanks! .

We've spent the last 14 (soon to be 15) Thanksgivings at Hilton Head so we're pretty aware of places. For a catered meal you can take and eat, there's both Kroger and Fresh Market, Signe's (our choice), a few restaurants (I think Kenny B's is one). And there are many resorts on island where you can go and eat. Several weeks beforehand, they'll start advertising in the "Island Packet" newspaper. Or you can always do what friends of ours have done for the last 20 years there-they bring all their ingredients and cook their own (of course they drive).

I highly recommend One Hot Mammas. Last year they did a full meal that you could take back to your resort hotel - if you have a kitchen and dining area this would be perfect. I think they also did dine in - but they do amazing souther food - best deviled eggs I’ve ever had.
