Our family and inlaws will be spending Thanksgiving 2009 in Disney World. Please provide recent reviews/opinions of Thanksgiving meals while in Disney World. Thank you in advance for your reviews and opinions.:)

We just had a FANTASTIC Thanksgiving meal at Boma last week. The buffet and service were both great. I would highly recommend it.

We ate at the Castle for Thanksgiving Dinner, it was awesome. The prime rib was very tasty.

We had a traditional Turkey buffet dinner at Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club. It was really yummy!!! Thinking about going back next year.

We also enjoyed the Thanksgiving buffet at Captain's Grille. We were a little disappointed when the Thanksgiving menus came out and we found out that it would be a buffet because normally we don't do lunch or dinner buffets (except for Boma). We went in not expecting much. We were very surprised with how good the meal was. Everything was VERY good. I would definitely go back. The cast member serving us was great, too.

When we arrived for our 6:30 ADR, they couldn't find it. Luckily I had my reservation number. Well, turns out we were booked for DECEMBER 27th instead of November 27th (we booked all of our ADR's through DU so never really checked on them). The cast member checking us in didn't even hesitate. She checked us in as if we had an ADR and we were seated in less than 10 minutes. They were taking people for a wait list, but I don't know how long that wait would have been.

We just got back and had a great Thanksgiving dinner at 1900 Park Faire. The food and service were excellent! They had traditional Thanksgiving food, along with many other items, including a large selection for kids and a huge dessert area. Plus, the character interaction there was the best we've ever had...it was Lady Tremaine, Cinderella, Prince, Anastasia and Drisella. Our DDs LOVED them. The sisters were constantly fighting, and calling for mother. It was great.
