Hi , I was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for thanksgiving dinner would like to have it on site maybe at a resort maybe a theme park,l and which parks are the least crowded at this time. :confused3

This will be my fourth trip at Thanksgiving. We have eaten at Yacht Club Galley (very good buffet selection), WCC @ WL (don't remember much about it, although WL and WCC are two of our favorite places), and Cape May Buffet @ BC (always love this place). This year we are planning to eat at Boma's. Whatever you decide, you better do it quickly - options will be getting very slim.

2005 will be our first Thanksgiving at WDW and from what I've heard, "least crowded park" and "Thanksgiving"-there ain't no such thing! I think all the parks are packed! We're eating outside the park, at Artist Point. In the evening, after dinner, we might battle the crowds somewhere since we're leaving the next day (can't see not going to a park sometime on the last day). Are there even any ADRs left in park resturaunts on Thanksgiving? If not, there are lots of good non-park Thanksgiving options.

We had Thanksgiving dinner at Garden Grill a couple of years ago, but that was before they did the renovations. We did enjoy that meal.

This year we have booked for Crystal Palace. This will be our first time eating at Crystal Palace. We had tried to get LTT, but it was completely booked (this after calling everyday prior to our 90 day mark and WDW Dining telling us that more slots would be open on our 90 day mark). Thankfully we had two back up options.

I am having Thanksgiving at the Parks. I didn't have any trouble with ADRs back at my 90, except at Liberty Tree Tavern. I had Ohana, but my wife wanted to experience the regular menu at Ohana rather than the Thanksgiving one.

I'd look at allearsnet.com for the dining menus and make a choice from that.

I ended up at Trail's End at Fort Wilderness; I thought that and the campfire would be a good closing day to the festivities since I hear the parks are really crowded on Thanksgiving Day.

good luck!

We had Thanksgiving dinner at Chef Mickey's last year. It was much better than I thought it would be. But, I made my ADRs really soon. You might be running out of options. I would make a choice and call as soon as possible. MK was pretty crowded when we were there, as was MGM. We stopped at MGM I would say mid-afternoon while we waited for our room at BWV to be ready. Left because it was crazy crowded. After dinner at CM we went over to MK and it was mobbed also. The next day, Friday, we went to Epcot and it was the most people there that I have ever seen. I say, just take your time and realize that there will be a lot of people there with you.

Hi,

We will be at WDW over the Thanksgiving Day holiday. We have ADR for teh 50's Prime Time Cafe.

Thanks for all your input - have managed to book for 50's Prime Time Cafe in MGM - it had some good reviews on allearsnet. The menu looked yummy also !!! :earboy2:

Hi ! We also decided that we wanted to stay completely out of the parks on Thanksgiving day. So we have a reservation for 'Thanksgiving at the FORT' A character show at fort wilderness. Should be fun. When I tried to make my ADRs A MONTH ago...this was the only place I could get in.

Here are some pictures another family took I found on google.

We'll be leaving on Thanksgiving around midday. We'll spend our morning+ at an as yet undetermined park(prob mgm or epcot but don't want to commit) and would like to find a turkey dinner in the Epcot area around lunch12-1pm. Any suggestions? Preferably at a resort(stayiing at CBR), but if recommedatons were high enough, would commit to a park. :wizard:

We booked Mama Melrose last week. That's the only thing we could get.Good thing we love Italian food!
