Thanksgiving in WDW?

If we were booked 11/16-11/27... how busy will it be? I assume right around thanksgiving will be super busy? Based on what is available when I wanted to go (12/7-12/17) even though before thanksgiving isnt value season, for the view we want, its actually the same since only higher levels are available in Dec. If you were to choose, would it be 11/16-11/27 or 12/7-12/17? Looking for lesser crowds.

Oh yeah, would AP discounts be available this time? I cant see if they were available either time last year

I would do the December dates myself. Thanksgiving week is very very busy. Now if you where to chose the week following Thanksgiving I would choose it. I had that week last year and I just loved it even though we got rained on during MVMCP but those are the breaks. No one can control the weather. I have also been the second week of December and it was also nice but it was colder but I have heard it can be in the upper 70's and low 80's so it is the roll of the dice.

I did find open dates at AKL (2 rooms) for 11/30-12/8! (I wanted to make sure the Thanksgiving crowd would be gone) I know that crosses Pop Warner but 1) we are staying in a deluxe and 2) arent they playing football all day? I just would hate to spend so much $$ and have it be crazy! I do know that that weekend is the parade filming so we will stay away from MK that day
