I was just wondering which restaurants serve traditional Thanksgiving dinners. Any recommendations on where to eat? TIA!

If you are in MK I would suggest Liberty Tree Tavern. They have traditional Thanksgiving type foods at the evening character meal. The atmosphere is enhanced because the characters are in costumes that reflect the colonial times in our country. We had a blast and the character interaction was great!!

If your thinking of this year, good luck with ADR's. LTT is booked for the entire day. This was our choice as well, but we called late in the day when the 180 day booking window had opened, and it was already fully booked. We booked at the Galley at the Yacht club. We ate there a couple of years ago for Thanksgiving and enjoyed it, however I don't remember the menu other than it being a buffet and there were some thanksgiving foods.

I wonder if any of the buffets will have some traditional Thanksgiving foods?

Yes, check alleasnet.com and then call NOW. I think I got my Thanksgiving ADRs on May 19th.

Well our 1st choice was Chef Mickey's but with our group of 18 (even with calling in right at 6:55 AM on the 180 day mark) I couldn't get anything until late in the night (9:00 - not good with little ones). We ended up deciding to do the Trail's End Buffet at Ft Wilderness. I have heard mixed reviews regarding TE, but I'm hoping for the best! We are planning on doing some pony rides, the petting zoo, the campfire with s'mores (YUM) and possibly viewing Wishes from the FW Beach.

I know allearsnet.com has some current listings of where T-day traditional foods are being served. Good luck.:goodvibes

We will be dining at 1900 Park Fare. I believe that they have tradiotional fare
but I booked back in May and the first available time was 5:45pm. We ate at
Whispering Canyon last year. We made that reservation 2 months prior to the holiday. It was traditional fare but all served in a skillet mixed together.
I've also heard that there are other buffets that serve traditonal fare. Good luck.

We ate at Crystal Palace last year and will be there again this year. Traditional Thanksgiving food with Winnie the Pooh and gang.

As stated above, you MUST make your decision NOW and call ASAP. Places that offer the tradional fare fill up quickly. Good Luck!

Many of the restaurants offer traditional Thanksgiving food on that one day. If memory serves me correctly, my son got Turkey and Dressing at Artist's Point one year.

We ate at Akershus (spelling) in Epcot last year. I had been a little nervous because it is Norwegian food, but they had a traditional turkey dinner and it was delicious.
In my fact my Mom who became a disney fanatic on our trip keeps saying it was one of the best Thanksgivings she's had and wants to go again!

Make your ressies early!

I got ressies for lunch during Thanksgiving week. Do they also serve their Norwegian food? TIA

I can't remember exactly, as my coworker always says
" I've slept since then" ;)

I think they did, the thanksgiving dinner was for that day, because of the holiday. I am pretty sure you could also get their standard food, I think they had a buffet set up with the cheeses and other items.
I know that not everyone got the turkey like me.

When I read the AllEars holiday menu's it looks like for the couple of days around Thanksgiving most TS will have traditional fair to them. That being the case I opted to do something different on Thanksgiving day and let the masses fight it out. We will be eating at Nine Dragons! :lmao: We booked LTT for our first night and MVMCP so I am thinking that will be enough Turkey for us. I'm kind of hoping that all the triptophan (sp) will kick in about 10-11 for everyone else and let us hop over to MK once EPCOT has closed. But sssshhhh that's my plan. ;)

Good luck, the crowds were UNBELIEVABLE last year.
We went back early, as we had heard rumours that they close MK after so many people are in.:sad2:

But maybe the rumours were put out there by smarties like you!! :)
