Thanksgiving discounts

i have a question about discounts at Thanksgiving. Our dates are Nov 24 - Nov 30 and booked at The Yacht Club. I did receive a special offer code if we arrived on Nov 23 instead but the price actually went up because our room category was not available for the discount. Any chance other discounts will come out for these dates? Or a free dining plan? Thanks

Like the OP said, it is not very likely. That is a very busy time. The discounts are tied to attendance, and that is a peak attendance time.

The only way to score a good discount for peak times is to be flexible with dates and book a package. We got free dining for thanksgiving by checking in the 19th- 28th (catching the last day of free dining). My DD and her BF can't miss that much school, so we are driving down early, put them in a room under my name, and the other room with DH so we can check in both rooms to secure FD. They are flying in on 21 st. That was the only way we could afford to go at such a peak time. With 6 people, free food is an enormous budget saver.

We got a room discount over Thanksgiving, but it excluded the night before and night after Thanksgiving. If SOME of your days will be discounted, you won't' have to book separate reservations. For instance, IF the discounts are the same as last year, you should be able to get a discount on the 24 and 27-30. It should be 30%. My suggestion is to price out the trip on the website as a room only, then figure out 4 nights at 30% off, then add the 2 nights at full price to get your cost. I love pricing options, and I'm not busy, so here's what COULD happen:

11/24-30, Yacht Club, Standard Room

11/24 through 27 - $468/night
11/28 - $437
11/29 - $388

So discounted amount: 11/24, 27, 28 and 29: total $1,761 x .7 = $1,232.70
Non discounted amount: 11/25, 26 - $836
TOTAL: $2,168.70
vs.
FULL PRICE: $2,697.00

Basically $500 savings. Nothing to sneeze at!

No free dining.

Hi - I just have a quick question:
We are booked at BC over Thanksgiving - the Wed before Thanksgiving / checking out on the Tuesday after. If the r/o discounts come out, you don't think I will need 2 separate reservations? I could just pay full price for the non discounted days and apply the discount (should it come out) for the days it would apply to my trip? I just assumed I'd need 2 separate reservations, but this would be awesome if I can do it all under just 1 reservation!

Yes, that's what we did last year. I can't promise it will be that way this year, but any time we've had a room only discount that had some blackout dates within our range, it just charged full price for those days.

I'm happy to report that we did get a Fall Room discount today. I wasn't huge but every little bit helps. It was enough to cover the cost of MVMCP tickets with a little left over!

We did, too. Our 1st 3 days weren't included but, we got a 15% discount off the last 3 nights. We're staying at BC and saved about $209. Evry little bit helps
