Thanksgiving Dinner

My family and I will be at WDW over Thanksgiving. Chef Mickey's is completely booked. Any suggestions for a nice Thanksgiving dinner?

We are eating at Cape May because ds is a picky eater. Otherwise I would probably try for LTT.

I'm going to try for LTT - I have my 60-days-out date marked on my calendar so I can get up bright and early and start calling (oh, dear, I'm having a Cinderella Breakfast flash-back.....)

Liberty Tree Tavern in MK. Perfect atmosphere for T-Giving. As TXMommy said, get your speed dial moving early 60 days out because it will be fully booked by mid morning, if not sooner.

We have PS for Brown Derby in MGM at 3:00, and then catching Osborne Lights soon after. The fall Disney magazine lists opening of Osborne Lights for 11/27.

We booked the YC Galley again for this year. Last year they closed it post 9/11 and tranesferred us to the YC convention center. Hopefully it will remain open!

I just booked Thanksgiving lunch at the Dolphin Convention Center. I asked the CM if any restaurants were doing anything special for Thanksgiving, preferably with characters and not in the park. The Dolphin CC is having 16 characters and a huge spread. It all sounded delicious, but don't ask me what was on the menu. More than just turkey, I can tell you that. Anyway they serve lunch from 12:00-5:00 and the cost is $42 for adults and $20 for kids (but that includes tax and tip.)
We have a party of 12 and they were able to get us all at one table so that was a definite plus.

We wanted to do LTT, but didn't want to waste a ticket after reading how crowded MK is on Thanksgiving.

We booked our ressie at Artist Point, right at the 180 mark. It's actually our second choice... maybe. I'm still thinking about changing to LTT. I've got a few weeks to decide. I'm sure there are a lot of us planning to book LTT, 60 days out.

There are a lot of great restaurants at WDW, but hurry. They're filling up!
