Thanksgiving Dinner

We were going to be going first week of December, but now we have to face the crowds of Thanksgiving week instead. Our DS's will be 3 1/2 and 15 months. Would you recommend Goofy's or Storyteller's for Thanksgiving Dinner? I'm not willing to pay the money for the Disneyland Hotel one.... Thanks in advance!

I have never eaten at either of those places for Thanksgiving, but Goofy's is my favorite DLR restaurant overall because of the vast array of food and the quality of food. However, initially I was going to suggest the DLH Thanksgiving buffet but you said you don't want that one. I have to be honest - even though I LOVE Goofy's and they have SO much to choose from for their buffets, Storytellers Cafe is a place where the overall atmosphere and ambience really would lend itself well to Thanksgiving. It is woodsy and cozy and really could carry that Thanksgiving vibe well, I think. Plus, you could have the option of ordering off the menu or getting the buffet.

So I am going against my usual Goofy's recommendation and saying you should pick Storytellers because it will be a little cheaper, the atmosphere is right for Thanksgiving and you can have off-the-menu OR buffet there!!

This past year we did Thanksgiving at the Jazz Kitchen and it was a wonderful meal. You might want to think about that as an option. With a 3 year old, and if he loves characters, I would probably do Goofy's before Storytellers.
