I am making my ADRs this week. The CM I spoke with recommended Thanksgiving at the Fort. Has anyone tried this? If so, how was it? Also, any other suggestions for Thanksgiving dinner - 7 adults 3 children 10, 14, & 18 months.

Hi: We did this last year. The food was very traditional and plentiful! (the gravy was really good) There was a country band and the characters came out and danced with everyone. Dessert was served on the grounds under tents and the childeren could even decorate their own cookies. You also took a family picture upon arrival which you could purchase later in the evening. Hope this helps.

Usually one of the big hotels -- The Contemporary or the Swan/Dolphin -- hosts a big shindig in one of its ballrooms, with an elaborate buffet, and characters milling about. They usually have seatings that begin in early afternoon and extend into the evening. party:

Two years ago, we went to the Cape May Cafe and had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal -- complete with tiny individual pumpkin pie tarts. :earseek:
