Thanksgiving Day Dinner

Anybody know a good place in Orlando that serves a Thanksgiving meal? Will be returning Thanksgiving morning from the cruise but flight doesn't leave until after 7:00 pm.

Will you have a rental car?

If so, then you have the choice of many excellent hotel restaurants all around WDW. My mother is particularly fond of the new Gaylord Palms (Opryland) Hotel - they have all kinds of buffets and I bet would do a great job with T-giving.

I would suggest making reservations ASAP for whatever you choose to do.

We'll be dining on the Magic, I'm curious as to what, if anything, they will do special. I have to admit it will be strange celebrating Thanksgiving on the cruise without our extended family...but we'll adapt!

DisneyDarwin, you will LOVE Thanksgiving on the ship!
Cruising on the Wonder for Thanksgiving has become an annual tradition for us (although my brother forces us to promise to spend Christmas at his house...he has lots of kids and likes to make a big to-do about it). They have a special menu, and the crew will all wish you a Happy Thanksgiving (sounds funny coming from such a wide variety of nationalities ). There will be decorations in the port and on the ship to make it even more festive. I'm eagerly anticipating our Thanksgiving cruise...it's been way too long (all the way since Labor Day!) that we've been on the ship.

Rent a car and go to Downtown Disney. They'll be open that day. And there may be some restaurants there with a special Thanksgiving Day menu. If not, Downtown Disney is adjacent to Hotel Plaza Boulevard. Most of the hotels on Hotel Plaza Boulevard will have a special Thanksgiving Day menu.

My DD and I will also be on the Thanksgiving Wonder Cruise. We are really looking forward to the no stress holiday. Maybe we will see you there? Just look for the 16 year old pretending not to be with her 35 year old mother. LOL...

All right!!! Finally another DISer on the Wonder for Thanksgiving!
We will be in stateroom 5650 and can also be found in the adult whirlpools prior to the safety drill. Hope to meet up with you on board!

Fantastic! I look forward to meeting you. We will be on deck 6, not sure what stateroom right now. Documents are in Bedroom where hubby is fast asleep.
My daughter and I are taking this cruise for her 16th b-day. DH decided to sit this one out, so I will more than likely be a single on this trip. Although I did schedule us for the Dolphin Discovery excursion on Nassau. So at least for a little while, my DD and I will be together.
Last cruise I think we saw her for a total of 1 or 2 hours the whole trip. Dont you wish they had a Common Grounds at home?
