Thanksgiving Day Dining

We've been trying to make an ADR for Thanksgiving Day with no luck. Does anyone know weither or not we would be able to sit down anywhere without an ADR on this very busy day? Is it worth a shot?

I would say your only shot is to just keep calling daily. Are there no ADRs for any table service places at any time during the day or are you only looking at specific time frames and or places? Also, checkout what the S/D might have avaiable checkout www.swandolphin.com you would not be able to use any Disney Dining Plan Credits here.

we've been calling DD for about two weeks now, and the cast members actually have a list of what is available, and there isn't anything as of Saturday 11/22.

Are there that many people visiting WDW on Thanksgiving to take up every table all day? Thats incredible don't you think?

Actually no it is very crowded on Thanksgiving and the following days through the weekend. We were there for the entire week in 2005 and make your dining plans six months out. We had our main T-day meal at 50's Prime Time Cafe as it has a home feeling and since some of us did not want turkey it allowed for both a traditional t-day meal and for those of us that did not want turkey we could order off the regular menu.

We will be there this year as well. We leave Boston late on Wednesday and we are having dinner at Shula's Steakhouse at the Dolphin at 8:30pm. It was the only think avaiable and we are only a part of two.

Are you looking to use dining credits or pay out of pocket? Checkout the Swan Dolphin site to see if they have anything left but you would have to pay out of pocket.

The food courts will also be serving turkey. If you can't get a reservation, head over to a food court. WOn't be exactly what you planned on, but it should be pretty good!

I am canceling Jiko right now. 11/27 4:40pm table for 6. We decided to cook at home since it has been cooling off here. Call in 5 minutes if you want it!

Thanks for the heads up on the cancelation, but I think we might stear away from the parks on Thursday .. May be too busy for us. Thanks for all the advice though. Happy Thanksgiving!!

We are going next year at Thanksgiving and looking for a recommendation for a nice buffet for turkey day.
