I am traveling with a big family (10 adults, 7 kids) during thanksgiving week. Any thoughts, ideas about doing Thanksgiving Lunch/Dinner in Disney? What are the best places? Do they do special menus?

Hi,

We had our Thanksgiving Day meal of 2005 at the 50's Prime Time Cafe. They serve their regular menu and then a traditional Thanksgiving Platter. It was a great place just like eating in a kitchen. Would do it again if we are down over Thanksgiving.

I did Liberty Tree Tavern at MK one year and as I recall although we were served delicious food, I felt we were just a bit "rushed". Not as good an experience as when we at there not on Thanksgiving.

Why not check out some of the resort hotels and what they may have - like 1900 Park Fare or Chef Mickey's.

We had Christmas Dinner at Trls End last year and I'm sure they also have TG. dinner. They had their usual buffet and then a whole buffet of traditional turkey, dressing, potatoes, giblet gravy, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie. The food was great and the atmosphere like being at home. Afterwards you can sit in rocking chairs and digest your food. We vowed this would become a tradition.
