We are doing a 7-Night Thanksgiving cruise. We would like to know in advance what to expect as far as activities, decorations and crowds.

Ship will have Christmas decorations

Thanksgiving dinner served on Thursday :goodvibes

We did the Thanksgiving cruise in 2012. They were working on the big gingerbread house in the lobby. . . It was fun to watch their progress

Our first DCL cruise was a 7 night Thanksgiving Cruise in 2010 on the Magic. We have been hooked since.

Christmas decorations were all fully up on the ship and Castaway Cay including the gingerbread house on the ship. We took a portrait on formal night in front of the Christmas decorations and had Christmas cards printed at Shutters. I arrived home with my Christmas cards ready to be addressed and mailed!

Thanksgiving day itself was the most relaxing Thanksgiving ever. It was a sea day so we had a nice sit down breakfast in the dining room, went to see a movie, headed up to the pool deck where football games were being shown and snacks were served right by the pool. It was semi-formal night so it was a very festive atmosphere for Thanksgiving dinner. Many choices on the menu from the traditional Thanksgiving plate to the semi-formal dinner menu. And, there were no dishes or clean up.

I LOVED our Thanksgiving cruise.
