Thanksgiving @ Cape May Cafe???

I am thinking about having Thanksgiving diner at Cape May Cafe. Just wondering if anyone has had their holiday meal here in the past and any thoughts (good or bad). In the past we've done Chef Mickeys and Hollywood & Vine and were very unhappy with both. I need to make a decision fast, I have to make my ADR's next week

We have eaten here for Thanksgiving for several years now...we like the fact that everyone can find something they like to eat, and plenty of it!! My suggestion is that you make an early ADR as it gets very crowded and people tend to be very relaxed and take longer than usual to eat on this day...which usually means a longer than usual wait to be seated! Eat early and often and enjoy every minute of it!!

Thank you We plan on getting the earliest ADR possible, the earlier the better! It's our arrival day so we like to eat early and just relax at our resort for the evening, this way we are rested for RD the next day

I am interested in Cape May for Thanksgiving also. Do they offer traditional Thanksgiving item (turkey, dressing, pumpkin pie) in addition to their regular menu? Crab legs? The crab legs alone would be enough to make my DD very happy.

Just ate there this past Thanksgiving. Loved it - as we always love Cape May. have done H&V and Chef Mickey's in the past - nope, Cape May put them to shame!

Pretty much was same as always is the items - all the seafood, the yummy ribs, etc, etc.... only difference is they added to it all the typical Thanksgiving items!

We love a buffet for Thanksgiving - gives everyone so much variety.

My only complaint last year was their dark meat wasn't that great.
I'm almost positive that last year they opened at 2:00.

I just booked Thanksgiving Dinner at Cape May for 4:15. Do you think this is too late? They had a 3:30 would that be a better time? This is our first Thanksgiving at WDW and I know my family would love all the crab and turkey!

We are looking at about the same time frame, anything between 3:00 and 4:30 is perfect for us. I can't imagine it would be too bad that early, at least that is what I am hoping for!! We can't make our ADR's until this Saturday, I hope I can get what I want.

We ate there last year for Thanksgiving and we weren't impressed. The food was just all right, but we wished we'd gone anywhere else after. It was very, very expensive too (I know, I know, it's Disney)

I actually had to call because my reservation would not link up in the online system (don't know if it's too early or what since I booked on Wednesday night). So I would get on the phone...I know as of yesterday they had openings. Good Luck!!!

Thanks! I did call today and was abke to book for 4:50pm at Hollywood and Vine. My dh suggested We be in a park instead even though it will be very crowded! Thanks again!
