Thanksgiving - book now or wait

Looking to go to Disney World during Thanksgiving week. Should we book now or wait for possible discounts? If we book now and discounts come out will they adjust price? Thanks for your help

I would definitely book now so that you'll have a room, especially since that's a busy time to go. If a discount comes out, you'll have to call and see if there's availability at your resort for your dates, although you can certainly change the resort if there's availability and it fits your budget.

I agree on booking now. I booked mine and did the whole package. The CM said to keep checking my e-mails, snail mail, the Disney website and Disney Visa site and call back as soon as I see a discount and they can apply it to what I already have booked.

I would book now. We booked ours a couple of months ago... any discounts that might come out can be added later.

I had no problem getting a room for last tanksgiving and I waited for quite a while. I don't remember exactly when I booked but general public room doscount was out already. I also switched our ressie just a week out and din't have any problem with resorts being booked.

I went during Thanksgiving week in 2008 it was not as busy as I thought it would be but I would book now and as soon as you can make your dining ressies do so.

I booked when I was allowed and we had dinner at 3:45 it was the only time they had at Crystal Palace (that's hubby's favorite) but that was when you can only book the 90 days out (whoever thought of that was dumb LOL)

Anyway, while we were on line for rides a couple of times I heard people complaining about Disney not having anything open tonight (Thanksgiving Day) for dinner. ahhh duh do you not book Valentine's dinner, Mother's Day breakfast or any other special day in advance when you are home, why would you wait till the last minute to do it at Disney?
