My MIL and FIL are getting a place near WDW. This is very exciting- now we'll have even more "excuses" to go down to FL.

MIL has said that since no one comes to her house for Thanksgiving, we should just go to WDW for Thanksgiving.

I already know from allearsnet.com that most restaurants serve a traditional Thanksgiving meal. However, I was wondering if there was a difference in quality between the restaurants or if the restaurant we choose is merely a question of ambience and/or convenience.

Where are the best places for Thanksgiving dinner?

I think the best place is a matter of personal choice.
We ate last Thanksgiving meal at Kona Cafe and were very pleased. And it was not that crowded.

I will be there Thanksgiving week also. Not sure yet where we will be having dinner. But really looking forward to being in the World at Thanksgiving. I am thinking Family vacations might be at Thanksgiving from now on.

We have been to WDW twice at Thanksgiving and are going back this year. We eat at the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. Not a traditional Thanksgiving meal, but we enjoy it. Since it is a little pricey, it's like a special holiday treat for our family.

How are the crowds for that week? Are they as bad as peak summer crowds?
