Thanksgiving at WDW - Can hardly wait!!

We're eating our TD at Yacht Club Galley. We had a reservation for the Yacht Club Galley about 5 years ago for Thanksgiving. A few months before Thanksgiving, they decided to close YCG. Boy, were we upset. But they did offer us the Yacht Club Convention Center dinner, with characters and a photo. Cost a little more but it was well worth it. We had gotten off the DCL that morning and had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner that afternoon. I don't think they have dinner at the YC Conv Ctr this year.

Deb&BILLLet me get this straight - you're staying at VWL and going to the YCG for dinner. I'm staying at BCV and going to Whispering Canyon for dinner. We should wave as we pass each other!

isytThanks for the thoughts. How was Whipering Canyons Thanksgiving dinner?

Tammy

I will be at SSR from the 23rd to the 30th, as well as at Christmas three weeks later! :goodvibes We decided to go down to see how Thanksgiving is celebrated at WDW, and then stay for the Condominium meetings on the 29th. I think they are doing OKW and SSR that day, and it will be my first and only time going, so I will be listening closely to see what they are like. :teeth:

We are going Nov 16 and leaving Thanksgiving day. I get to wake up at Disney, but go to sleep 1200 miles away.

How Cool! We are also arriving on Nov. 16th - staying until Nov. 22nd. We are staying at SSR. :cool1:  It's getting so close - I already can't sleep! It's crazy that now matter how many times you go to WDW - it still seems like your very first time!

We will be at the Beach Club Nov. 21-25 and BCV 25-28. We leave next Monday. I can hardly wait. :Pinkbounc I didn't make any ADR's, soooo if you see a hungry-looking family of 5, it's probably us. We like flying by the seat of our pants. I guess we will have to see what happens. We love Disney at Thanksgiving and never had a problem with dining at our favorite haunts, but in light of the DDP who knows :confused3 But who cares, WE'RE AT DISNEY!

We'll be at VWL Nov. 22 to 26. Having Turkey Day dinner at Fort Wilderness--Thanksgiving at the Fort. Hoping for decent weather, since this event is outside!

We will be there the day after Thanksgiving through the following Saturday. I love going down at this time of year. It's great to have Thanksgiving with the family at home, then leave the next day for a wonderful vacation. This year it is a much needed vacation for DH. He has been working so hard this year that we just need to get away.

Hope everyone has a great vacation!!!

We will be at the BWV's from 11/21 to 11/28. Planning on catching the CP on 11/24 and MVMCP on 11/27. Eating at Cape May on Thanksgiving. Look for the tall guy with lots of people in tow. There will be 10 of us. I'm usually the one running ahead to get fast passes or doing laps around the Boardwalk/Crescent Lake in the afternoon.

We leave 11/18 for BCV and then VWL!

Why am I so stressed out? I love planning, dreaming, and then when it gets close, I start to get stressed out!! I just ordered our groceries today, printed out our itinerary, and cancelled all the rental car ressies (we're going to take ME). Now I have to locate our park tickets, luggage tags, etc....

I can't wait to see the decorations!

Okay only 5 days for me :cool1: !!! Can't wait!!! Busy, busy weekend so it should go real fast!!!! :cheer2:

Arriving on Sunday for stay through Saturday@ Fort Wilderness

Any suggestions for dining for 16 w/no reservations???

Weather hasn't been bad so far, just cold for Nov. We did do Typhoon Lagoon on Sunday - as long as you hustled from the water to your towel, it wasn't bad. And there was a lot of sun. Looks like Wed might be the only bad day. And only a slight chance of rain. Most of the rain at the coast.

VWL is beautiful, already decorated for Christmas.

Sounds wonderful and what better place to be on a chilly day than WL and all those great fireplaces.
