We are going to be in DL for Thanksgiving. We are planning to stay at the GC. Does anyone have ideas or feedback about a good, traditional Thanksgiving dinner? Our kids are great in adult restaurant settings. Thanks!

Hi, My family and I were at DL for Thanksgiving 2 years ago. I know they have a character meal that is traditional and rather pricey. They do have meals throughout the resorts, but I just wanted to tell you to be careful. At PP we were told they would have a traditional dinner and we made ps. Needless to say, they didn't have it and it was too late to go anywhere else. Have a great time.

In 2003, we ended up eating at whitewater, there were long lines at Storytellers (of people with PS) and no room at Napa Rose either. I would ask the people at Disney dining about menus. I would recommend Storytellers, the buffet is wonderful all year. We went at Easter, the dishes and desserts were fantastic, I'm sure it would be great at Thanksgiving as well.

Thanksgiving is the only time I have ever wished I made a PS anywhere at the DLR. Expect busy parks and busy restaurants, and you will have a great time

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE NAPA ROSE. TYPICALLY I LOVE THIS RESTRAUNT, BUT LAST YEAR ON THANKSGIVING, THEY WERE RUSHING PEOPLE IN AND OUT LIKE CATTLE AND IT WAS EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. WE HAVE BEEN GOING OVER THE HOLIDAY FOR YEARS AND OUR FAVORITE, IF YOU HAVE A CAR IS THE CHICKEN HOUSE OUTSIDE OF KNOTT'S BERRY FARM. THE FOOD IS GREAT AND FOR US, I THINK IT IS MORE ABOUT TRADITION. I KNOW WHERE WE'LL GO THIS YEAR. GOOD LUCK.
