We will be going to the Beach Club for the first time during a national holiday....Thanksgiving, 2004.
We don't want to miss out on making "have to do" reservations for this time of the year.
Any suggestions as to what we should make sure we do or don't do?
Many thanks,

Liberty Tree Taven is known for their turkey dinner.

And, if you are not interested in going to a park for your Thanksgiving meal, the turkey dinner offered by the Publix is very, very good. Whole cooked turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry/orange relish served 8 of us at OKW and we still had leftovers for around $36.00.

We've been going at TG for the past 4 years. IMO I wouldn't say there is any TG specific "must-do" reservations specific to TG. Overall, our must do's include: seeing the Osbourne lights at MGM, checking out the decorations at a few resorts, and a water park (not a crowded as the summer). For dinner LTT does a pretty good job, but we were a little turned off by the crowds at MK. We felt somewhat "unfulfilled" by other restaurant TG meals.

This year we're doing dinner in our room. I've got a 2BR, so we'll have plenty of room for cooking. We've got lots of time to decide if we cook from scratch or go with warmed over pre-cooked.

Hey Epcot Lover--

We will be at BCV over Thanksgiving 2004 also! We wil be in a 2 bedroom from November 20-26 and we are also from the wonderfully cold Midwest, northern Indiana to be exact. What better than Florida sunshine and WDW/DVC magic to celebrate the holiday.

Don't know what we will do for Turkey Day either. We may go way out on a limb and do Boma's for Thanksgiving. I know, not exactly traditional, but I'm feeling a little adventurous. Not sure if I'm up for MK crowds that day. Don't get me wrong we love LTT, but more for a place to have a late lunch of the best burger (mushroom and Provolone) just before the afternoon parade.

We should hook up. We'll be the ones trying to contain a very excited 4 year old and dragging around a dazed set of grandparents. They have never been to WDW.

We will be there Nov 20-28 at OKW. We have a group of 15 and got a grand villa and two studios. We are very excited. DH prefers traditional meal for Thanskgiving and likes leftovers, so we get the meal from Publix and have a meal in the villa. We are going to avoid MK on Thanksgiving Day, that is for sure. It was a zoo the year we went!

Restaurants that we are including in our week are Bomas, LTT, O'Hana's, and Whispering Canyon. We plan on doing the Magical Gatherings Wishes Fireworks boat ride and doing an Illuminations Cruise.

Happy planning!
