We are planning to have a fabulous Thanksgiving meal in our villa, but wanted to order a special cake for the day. Has anyone spent THanksgiving day on property... any advice on planning or the cake???

Order Thanksgiving dinner from Publix. All you will have to do is heat it up. Get the Chocolate Ganache Supreme cake. http://publix.com/food/catalog/ProductDetail.do?id=10057

You'll have to pick it up since I don't think they will deliver. And you'll have to pick it up a day or two before Thanksgiving.

This is the best cake in the world. I bought one for my birthday cake in June and ate most of it myself. It was delicious.

What Thanksgiving meal options does Publix have? We know that we don't want to pay Disney prices for turkey, but what to have a special meal. This sounds like a good option.

Most of the restaurants offered a turkey plate on Thanksgiving, and of course there's always the giant turkey legs, LOL.

We did Christmas dinner from Goodings several years ago and I think it cost around $60 for the complete dinner - precooked turkey, dressing, gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie and maybe a vegetable for 4-6 people.

As it gets closer to Thanksgiving, log onto the Publix website and see if you can order that meal. You might be able to e-mail them as well about this to see what they say. Most grocery stores offer a Thanksgiving dinner.
