I'm making my first DL trip on Weds and Thurs of Thanksgiving. I'm a WDW veteran and know that WDW closes often during those days bc of crowds.

Does DL often close do to crowd levels. If so what are the stages. The reason I'm asking is I want to make a dining reservation but I don't know if I need to try and plan to stay only in DL or is hopping between DCA do able.

Thanks.

From what I recall reading in the past, those days will be very crowded, especially the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I'm almost positive that is what you expect, but I'm sure other's who've been before will chime in with their experiences. We've typically gone after Thanksgiving and find it to be much better. I think just go in with the right mindset that it will be crowded and plan for crowds and you'll have a great time :)

The Christmas deocrations and will be and it's so beautiful! That alone is worth putting with the the crowds if you have no other choice :)

I was no there on Thanksgiving day last year. However I recall that on Thursday the crowds were light in the parks... I was watching the wait times... Perhaps some one else has that recollection?
