Thanksgiving 2019

This will be our first time going at Thanksgiving. I was looking at this year's crowd calendars (except TP) to get some ideas. I still miss Josh's easywdw calendars by the way. Everything I've read indicates that you should avoid MK on Thanksgiving Day. However, I've seen two calendars that are recommending MK for Thanksgiving Day. What are your recommendations for that day?

To be honest, it really doesn't matter. ALL of the parks will be busy on Thanksgiving Day. The difference between an 8 or 9 is no big deal, both are busy. Go where you want with the understanding that their will be lots of people. We have been multiple times on Thanksgiving week.

We have been multiple times over thanksgiving and Christmas and we have learned to avoid MK on either holiday. That is where all the locals typically would go. We usually would go to AK in the morning, then go have dinner at a resort. Just know that it will be crowded Wednesday through Saturday when you go.
