Thanksgiving 2008 (Let's Do Our Count Down)

Okay, it is my 50th birthday today and all I want to do is pack and think about Disney! Just filled in our luggage tags and placed them on the luggage! We will be checking in to AKL in 2 weeks!!!!!
I am going over my itinerary and packing list. We are driving and I just pulled up driving directions and sent it to my vehicle.
Question: I keep reading about Disney Visa card and free dining, can you get it if you already used a vacation discount code?

I dont think the codes are good for the dates you will be there. The last day is the 22nd. I stressed over spending the $$ for deluxe, but my agent told me I could not use the free dining for TDay week.

I am so excited! I started putting clothes in my suitcase already! I am going to check the weather for when we will be there because we (South Louisiana)are going to be really cold this weekend. I have pulled out jogging suits, jeans and capris. I need to lighten up that suitcase. I hope I don't have to haul around a big coat.

We are there the exact same days as you are, only at ASsp's and we got free dining too with the Visa Code!!

Yay for 8 days till we leave!

We also will be at ASSp from Nov 22-30. We got the Visa free dining as well. I was told as long as we checked in by the 22nd we could get it. We were issed a credit on our CC the next day as we had already paid it off.

All I can think is because there are limited rooms available that they are now sold out.

You are right, you can only use one code at a time. For us (a family of 6) we saved more money by having the dining plan free than the Fall code I originally booked with.

Whoohooo...two weeks from tomorrow and I will be at the happiest place on earth. Now to just through hosting Thanksgiving dinner for 18 of our closest friends/family.

I called weeks ago. I couldnt get it. Maybe because I am not arriving until the 23rd. If I had know you only had to be checked in by the 22nd, I would have possibly added another night and changed the air flight. Air change would have been about $450 for 6 and another night would have been about $700 = $1150, but I would have saved $1680 for the dining.
