Question again!

I am new to posting on the DIS boards but not message boards. At what point will it let me post pictures and send PM. It keeps telling me my post count is too low.

I would like to send my information for the mini navagators but don't want to do it publicly.

I've sent you a PM. If you look at the top right hand corner of your screen, it should say Private Messages. Click on that link and it will take you to your private messages. See if you can reply to what I sent you. I would think your PM's should be available now.

On pictures, I'm not sure how long you have to wait to post one, but if you have the mountain on the list after the BOLD, ITALICS, UNDERLINE, so on and so forth, you should be able to click on the mountain (2nd from end) and then it will bring up the link so you can paste it in. I used photobucket to link my pictures in.

thanks linda as you can see i really was not too sure what it was see like i said before being a bit new to this sometimes is confusing but its ok by the 2 cruise ill be a bit more wet behind the ears ha ha ha

Done! I've got you added.

We have received so many different things in our fish extenders, but here is a little rundown of different items:

pirate eye patches
mardi gras necklaces
glow in the dark bracelets
notepads
pencils
personalized M & M's
rubber duckies
candy
chocolate
little journals
magnets
hot sauce!
bookmarks

Alot of people will get something in bulk like from Oriental Trading Company on line or at their local party store. There are really no restrictions or minimums or anything, it is just whatever your family would like to share.

Alot of families will also put a label on their stuff with their disboard name and family name so the receiver knows where it came from. Others do it without leaving their names.

Also, you might want to bring one of those zip tie thingies. You can run it around the top of your fish extender and then actually attach it to the fish mounted on the wall. That way the fish extender won't swim away. I've never had a problem with mine, but teens have been known to move it to another door down the hallway as a joke.

Still no docs here. Definitely feeling like an Eyeore today...a bit droopy and a bit glum.

2 grants down...4 to go by Friday and then I can get all caught up. By the way, I heard from Andrew (from the last Turkey Cruise) he's gonna post the jpg file of the t-shirt design for me (since I'm an idiot and can't figure out how!).

I remember something about meeting on Deck 10 but I'm not sure if that is before or after the Muster Drill (you know, the thing that the Coast Guard requires us to do where we all gather at a specified location with our life jackets on so we know what to do in an emergency...).

You are definitely NOT the only family with late seating. (11 families as of now have requested to all have the same dining rotation and be seated in the same area of the dining rooms. I can't remember if I suggested, but if you'd like to join in on the request, PM to Chuck (ICEMANPAD) or me with your confirmation number and name on the reservation and one of us will add your family and names to the link.

I think everyone here has pretty much agreed upon (right? ) meeting upon deck 10 right before the sailaway party wearing our t-shirts. Then we'll (hopefully) all see each other again at dinner that night.

Just dropping by to say hello. I was one of the Turkeys on the 2005 Magic, and was hoping to cruise with all of you this year, but we won't be joining you

Anyway, congratulations to you all on the activity on this thread. I am sure that you will make it to 3000!

If you decide to initiate that suit, I think I can scare up a lawyer or 100 who will defend me and say there is no copyright issue (plagarism yes, but no copyright!).

Most of us actually requested late seating.. We enjoy not having to rush so much. Many of us have our reservations link together at the late seating.

The late seating has always worked great for our family.

Hey there Andrew

Thanks for hooking us up on the tee shirts I don't think it would have happened if other wise.

Priscilla wants to re book for next year, so we will put it down for Turkey day but we are also interested in the week after Christmas day, so how knows.

Btw we have been looking for places to have a second home to retire at in Florida any sugestions it needs to be near the water. We thought about Marco Island. Shoot us a PM and give us your ideas

Spoke to a friend... She said that the DCL had experienced problems with other guests taking down door decorations and signs on recent cruises ... No one touched their decorations.. ( We have never experienced any theft)

Has anyone had problems?
