Thanksgiving 2003 questions (Magic 11/22)

We are thinking about cruising on the 11/22 Magic. Has anyone sailed before during Thanksgiving and were there any special activities/events?

We sailed on the Magic Thanksgiving Cruise last November. They decorated the ship for the holiday, had special menus, and Mickey and Minnie were dressed in Thanksgiving attire for formal pictures.

We sailed on the Magic during Thanksgiving. You can have a Thanksgiving dinner in the dining rooms that night. We also had a prem-ear of Treasure Planet ( I don't know what movies would be coming out for this year but you may get one). The above post talks about the formal pics with Mickey and Minnie in pilgrim outfits. This was really cute. They will only let your party take one picture though...long lines when we did it. I was hoping for one with just my family and one with my children and their grandparents...we only we allowed to do one...we opted for the grandparents. You will have a great time!

Maybe you had a little too much wine, the Wine-O Tasting Party was on the May 3, 2003 cruise in the Walter E. Disney Suite!!!

Man!!! I'm glad that Captains pay attention to detail!

I think you're right Capt. Andy, I may have had a little too much wine at the tasting.

Now that I think about it, was I even on the Thanksgiving Cruise?!

no we didn't go to the dis meet....we were travelling with my in-laws and my husband's sister and brother...

my youngest ds got the "virus" and we not around too much until he started to feel better...we still had a good time though and luckily his illness was short lived

I was on the Thanksgiving cruise last year too! But, I didn't become familiar with the world of DIS until earlier this year.

We are going to be on the 11/22 Magic. www.castawayclub.com has great past thanksgiving menus and such. And Haunted Mansion should be premiering on the ship that week!!!!!!!!!!!
