Hey everyone, was on with WDW today and they informed me that there is nothing available preferred or premium for the week of T'giving 2009?

Can this be right? I was previously told that nothing could be booked prior to today so when I called I was stunned. I even had him try for several days prior to see if that would open it up?

Anyone got ressies yet?

That's BS about no availability. We go TG Weekend and last year I did the calculation to call the 500 days out for this year and was told it wasn't available. You may have to add more days than you need or something but you will get it. CRO makes it so damn hard these days to get a site.

Thanks for the reassurance Donnie. I calculated the 500 days as today. The first CM I spoke to tried to get it to work and got a supervisor involved but I was disconnected. The second tried a few things but then threw up his hands and said "that's a real popular week" so there must not be anything available.

Does anyone know if the 500 days is to the start of the ressie or must the end date of the ressie be within 500 days?

I called and made reservations for 2009 tonight and they said that they are not reserving that far out yet.

The check out date must be within the 500 day limit.

Additionally, they do not release all sites at once. From past history they seem to release them in batches.

:surfweb: This is correct :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone

I called back last night and got the correct scoop. The last day of the reservation must be within 500 days so even going earlier wouldn't help as the end date was still the key date. And no, the Fort is not already full for Tgiving 2009.

Hopefully, I will be able to call back in a few days and get the ressies needed.:worship:

I do have to agree with Stacktester that this could be made easier, I hate having to spend all that time on the phone (on my dime) and making three calls for what could have been answered very quickly. Also, why can't they have the online set up so that it can book in 2009???? Then I wouldn't even have to call them. AARRGGH.

Yup, I have been calling and waiting since last month to get my T-Week vacation as I missed out on it for this year. Last I heard they are booking upto Novemeber 18th right now. What stinks is once my arrival day becomes available to book, I get to call every single day to add on nights til I get my entire stay. Cause' I can't take a chance of missing out on not getting any of my days and I can't book it all at one time. Thanks Disney...if it's not a minium night stay I have to deal with, it's this wonderful policy.
