I've booked a Disney vacation from the Thursday before Thanksgiving until the Saturday after (our first WDW trip was 6 days in July 06 and we loved it!). I plan to do Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon in WDW parks before the massive crowds come in. I plan to take Tuesday off to rest and (hopefully) swim, and then spend Wednesday at Sea World. I want to visit other resorts on Thanksgiving, spending the afternoon at Ft. Wilderness, Friday at Epcot, then MK on Sat. morning before flying home.

Can anyone who went to Sea World Thanksgiving week of 06 give me some insight on what kind of crowds to expect. I've never been to Sea World, and I know my kids will enjoy it.

Thanks alot!:goodvibes

No one has ever been the week of Thansgiving?
What about Discovery Cove on Thanksgiving Day. Would that book up really early? Can't afford it now, but hoping to be able to book this at a later date.

Hello - it sounds like we have almost got the same trip planned!! We are arriving the Thursday before Thanksgiving and will depart the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We are planning on doing Sea World the Friday after Thanksgiving beacause I feel WDW will be crowded! I have never been to Sea World so I reallly have no idea what to expect, plan, etc. Where are you staying? We are at All Star Movies this time - I hope it will be okay!!! Have you selected your place for Thanksgiving Dinner? I can not wait!!! Deb:banana:

I am a planner!

We stayed at All Star Sports last July-my son's pick since he turned 9 during the trip. It was wonderful! Towel animals every day, and balloons on his birthday. We are staying at Pop this trip-just to do something different.

I plan on doing Thanksgiving at Ft. Wilderness, and hope to book the Hoop De Doo Review for 5:15 that night so we can go to the campfire after. I've also thought about DC, but it is out of my price range right now.

I know Epcot will be crowded the day after Thanksgiving, but that is the first day of the Christmas events there. The fireworks that night will be Christmas themed, there will be a tree lighting at 6, and the storytellers will be at each country. So we plan to spend the morning at Bibbity Bobbity Boutique, then the rest of the day at World Showcase. My dd's birthday is in early November, and we are going to make that her day, since ds got to celebrate his birthday at Epcot last year. She loved World Showcase-especially the shops!

I've never been to Sea World either. But after reading that you could take a bus from Disney to there for only 1.50 each way, I decided to go. My family had never been anywhere before last year. I finally decided to leave dh at home and go where I wanted! I wish we could get some feedback on what Sea World was like around this time last year!

Oh - I never thought about Friday being the first day of the Christmas festivities at Epcot - I might need to rethink the Sea World Day! Please tell me about this CHEAP bur to Sea World. I was planning on getting a towncar and that is a nice chunk of money!! Thanks so much!!

I got this info from an earlier thread: Transportation from WDW to Seaworld

You can take the Lynx bus from the transportation center near Magic Kingdom. It costs 1.50 each way per person. It takes you straight to Sea World.

My family will be at WDW the same time. We are going for my Cousins Wedding 11/17 and staying till the Friday after Thanksgiving. Do you know where you are eating for Thanksgiving yet? I am looking for menus but can't find any.
