I've been a long time Disser and have many trips under my belt. These have varied from a 5 night stay at the Poly to value rooms with free dining to staying off site and driving. The last several years we have made yearly trips (if not more 
). However, It's been since last June that we've been to the World and this year we've carried two mortgages for more months than we intended (finally have sold our house) so weren't sure we would be able to go this year. Maybe wait til next year. I came up with other little vacations we could take this summer that would be less expensive, BUT was missing my Disney fix.
Anyway, Thanks to the budget board, We are going!!
Bought YES tickets this week for August, rented a 3 BR condo at Windsor Hills, applied for and got Southwest cards for DH and I, and found a good rental car code. 
So, with flight, car, condo, and tickets my grand total will be $2,310. The same tickets (6 day hopper tickets with WP&M) purchased through undercovertourist would have been $2,237 alone! 
I'm saving $980 on tickets, $1700 on airfare, and $200 on car rental.
I also started buying Disney Gift Cards this week from Kroger to cover our Food and incidentals while earning fuel points.
In addition, since the kids knew that Disney was off the table for another year or so, we're going to TRY to keep this a secret and surprise them! They will be so happy. Disney is our family's "happy place"
