so, on the last night of my trip I had a situation at Tower of Terror,
So I have Asperger's as well as high anxiety, I spent a good portion of the night trying to go on the ride, but would panic and exit own the alternate exit every time. a Bellhop told he that I would not be allowed through if i didn't go on right then and there. I was devastated because I have ha a fascination with this attraction since I was at least three years old. on my way out, I encountered a bellhop named Chris who apologized for scolding me up in the lobby (their is a set of chairs there from the 17th century, but misspoke and said 16th century). So we started talking and I told him what the bellhop in the boiler room said, to which he replied "whoah, Not cool!" and proceeded to tell me hat they would have guests come through the queue without doing the attraction due to health issues. He also said that I am allowed to go through as many times as I paid to get in. He also said that He would have that bellhop reported. So I told him about my predicament when he took me up to the boiler room where I could sit in the veichle with the seatbelt on to get a feel for the attraction. so he agreed to go on the attraction w/me. he said to come back around 9:30 and try then. So I come back and we begin the ride. I was absolutely terrified so I shouted "STOP THE RIDE".....and the attraction goes 101. Apparently another guest dropped a bag of merchandise in the elevator's pathway. so we sit there for a good 5 minutes talking about the attraction in general, when the elevator descended again and we tried again, this time with the lights on. It was not bad at all, and he bought the on ride photo for me. So I went on again, and would of gone on again if the park hadn't of closed. Long story short, Major Thanks to Chris and Tara for being so accomodating

I'm glad I caught this post! I really want to see the inside of the ride but there is no way I could ever go on the actual ride. At least now I have the chance to go through and see the theming!

That is AWESOME! I'm so glad that a CM put forth the extra effort to make your time at ToT memorable! My son has sensory issues and high anxiety and this is a prime example of why we love DW sooooo much! Congrats to you for being able to finally ride ToT after many years of just looking!:thumbsup2
