Dec. 21, I showed up with my two boys in tow to take the "Discover the Magic" tour. When I had called and reserved, the gal told me 10:30, and I had written that down. Upon picking up my tickets, I never even looked at the time. When I arrived at 10:15, exactly 15 minutes early as directed, I found out I was really 15 minutes late!!
Of course there was not much that could be done. Inspite of the no refund policy, James gave me a refund right away after we found out that there was no other tour for us to take. Then, as I was sitting on a nearby bench wiping my tears away, trying to regain my composure with my two boys rubbing my back and telling me they didn't want to go on a tour anyhow, James came over and started talking with us. Yes, he gave us some fast passes, and event the pins that come with the tour, and even some special passes for reserved seating for the parade, but what he really gave us back was the magic. He actually sat and talked with my boys about his favorite parts of the park, and how we could go and discover the magic together as a family.
I honestly think that missing the tour and meeting James was a highlight of my trip. To me, he exemplifies what being a CM is all about.
