I recently had an $11K unexpected expense come up. A while back that would've been downfall and ruination and taking out a loan etc.

However, I've been socking money away instead of spending it. Not as much as I should, I've still got a lot of bad spending habits as does DH but DH and I are doing much better.

So now I was able to pay the 11K cash.

And it's due to the budget board.

Good for you! :thumbsup2

It must have been quite a relief to have that money to fall back on when you needed it. Keep up the good work!

Excellent! :thumbsup2

I, too have begun savings accounts since being on the boards and it's such a relief to just have the $ for something when it comes up.
