Thanks To All re. CAT Scan!

A big thank you to those of you who answered my continuous questions and kept me in your thoughts and prayers as I underwent my Pelvic Extravaganza and CAT Scan.

CAT Scan was yesterday and results in today show I have an abcessed appendix. I thought only kids had their appendix out! lol! Now, it's on to the gastro-enterologist, who will read the CATscan and more than likely schedule surgery (yikes!).

Will keep you posted on the continuing saga. Manythanks for all your support, prayers and pixie dust!

Ummm..abcessed appendix = ouch! Take care.

p.s. My DH had his appendix out 5 years ago. No problems, just a little soreness for several days.

Susan! Well, this sure wasn't what you expected! I guess it's good that you went through all that thorough testing, though--it may have saved you from a very dangerous ruptured appendix!

Do let us know what the GE says, and when he schedules your surgery. Hopefully after that, all these specific health issues you've had can be put to rest!

I thought only kids had their appendix out! lol!

I had an emergency appendectomy (open not lap) while at WDW in 2003. At the hospital - they kept saying "You're a little old for this."

I had my surgery at 10pm on a Wed. night and went to Candlelight Processional on Friday night (walking on my own). I was pretty tired but still enjoyed getting out.
