I just wanted to say thanks for being such an awesome tour guide and wonderful CM. I took your Keys to the Kingdom tour on Sunday, May 18, and it truly was one of the highlights of a very difficult, emotional trip for me.
This was my first solo trip to Disney, and the first time back without my ex or my kids since my divorce. Disney was always my "happy place" and a very "family" oriented trip for me. It was where I went on my honeymoon, where we took our first son on his first major trip, and even where we conceived our second son. It's a long story, and still very raw and painful for me, so I was not overly excited about this trip, just more viewed it as a necessity, like ripping off a band-aid.
I really enjoyed all your personal details and stories, and definitely could tell how passionate you are about your job. I had tears in my eyes when you were talking about Disneyworld's opening day with Roy's speech, but at the end of the tour when you described in such detail how you maintain the magic for yourself, turning around during Wishes and watching the crowd, the looks on people's faces, well, that completely made me cry. Although I couldn't bring myself to do that on this trip, as Wishes had to be for me this time, I promise that I will do that on my next trip in November. It will be my younger son's first trip, and I know when I look at my children's faces during Wishes then, that the magic of Disney will return to me, and it will once again be my "Happiest Place on Earth".
