Just got back from DW with my husband, and 2 kids age 7 and 4. I was so prepared thanks to these boards. I had my priority seating reservations, my Brita water bottle, mister, good stroller, made my own autograph books, etc. We also went to Sea World and Universal. My 4 yr old ended up with a double ear infection the first day and the people at AKL sent up 2 autographed pictures and an African Minnie doll. I was very impressed with their service.
We stayed at AKL for 4 days then to Holiday Inn Family Suites so I could see what we liked better. I enjoyed both equally however it was much cheaper at Holiday Inn. We rented a car so we could drive around ourselves. Well.... we ended up going to a timeshare presentation (to get cheaper tickets for Universal and Sea World) for Orange Lake Country Club and ending up purchasing a week. The condo is huge and has 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, washer and dryer. So now I can't wait to plan our trip for next year.
We did 2 character breakfasts, the Donald Breakfastsauraus and the Princess storybook in Epcot. The food at the princess one was much better. At the Donald one we felt rushed and Mickey was late and rushed thru so fast my daughter couldn't get her picture signed. He was almost rude. The kids loved Teppanyaki at Epcot where the chef cooks food in front of you and the Sci Fi dine in at MGM.
WE all loved MGM the best. The parade was great and less crowded compared to Magic Kingdom.
