Thanks so much for your help so far. We are starting to narrow down some decisions. The next decision is use year. How do you decide which is the best for you? Any help appreciated

We bought based on when we travel. We go late October so we got a Oct use year. That way if something happened we have plenty of time to use or bank points.

UY is (or should be) important for many but not for others. If you travel consistent times, UY will be important and is likely worth up to a full years worth of points or more in some cases. The closest to your travel but before the travel is the best by far.

UY is like free insurance should you need to bank points. Look at an 8 month period when you will vacation the most and choose a UY that is the first month.

We vacation between Oct and May so we have an Oct UY. If we need to cancel a vacation, we can bank during that period without penalty.

If we vacation in Sept and have to cancel our trip, we have until the end of the month to use or lose the points, we can't bank and save the points.
