So... I don't share many special VMK moments, but with so many friends packing up and leaving because the fun just seems so hard to find during this sad time, I feel the need to share this one.
I signed on for a quick minute to trade some things with a friend when another non-DIS friend of mine (Eelninoo, who i title "weather boy") that I met my VERY first day in VMK 2.5 years ago came in to my room. We have remained friends through the years and he is 1 person that I will miss dearly. He and I visited for a few minutes. We were talking about how sad VMK seems these days and how some of us really want to embrace every last minute but seemingly SOOO many friends have just stopped signing on all together.
My room is such that you cannot see the doorway, so we really don't know how long he was there, but out from the walls, what appears... a talk bubble saying "Knock knock" and a host named Hurricane with his cute red ears.
It truly was just me, Weather Boy, and Host_Hurricane having fun in my little "Belle Note, Lady and the Tramp" room. Hurry said that he just signed on to walk around the kingdom. NO CLUE why he wandered into mine, but talk about a wonderful moment that followed: I didn't know this, but Weather Boy has never met a host. Talk about a fun memory he will have now!
At some point, the two of them realized that we had a Hurricane and an Eelninoo together. Poor LittleJegrezo ended up surrounded by 2 storms!
I'm not really sure what started it, but it turned into a magical visit with sharks and planes and lightning (OH MY!). And uh, Hurry, if you are reading this, there is the matter of that repair bill for the burnt ship that we need to discuss.
My room was open the entire time and a few players I don't know wandered in and out. I think they were confused by all the magic!
After staying much longer than he needed to, Hurry was off to "do some work," but not before leaving 2 players with a nice and fun VMK memory during a time when it seems hard to find the fun! Thanks Hurricane. We needed that ... oh, and your movie secret is safe with us, promise!
Note: Lady and Tramp were at no time injured during the storms that landed in their room today.
